Thank you for your welcome tattoo. It's nice to be here.  Right now I'm just curious. Maybe I'll have something to contribute in the near future.

I'm not familiar with the term B-Mail. What is it, and how do I do it?

Thanks for your help,

Mani

First off if you are using Internet Explorer you can click on  FILE-NEW-WINDOW at the top of your screen so you can keep this window open as a reference and use the second window to send the message.

Towards the top of the screen  is "My Messages" - it's located in the blue bar at the top of the screen just under the search box.  Click on that.

Just under that bar and all the way over to the left is the "MESSAGES BOX"  Click on "New Message"

The top box says "TO:"  Click on "Find Members"

A "Find Members" pop up will appear. Type in "Mayport Crabber" and click on "Search"

"Mayport Crabber" will show up as the only result.  Click on the result only once.

Close the search pop up.

"Mayport Crabber" will now appear in the "To:" field.

Add a subject and a message body and click on the "Send Message" button at the bottom.  Add Smiley's at your discression  Grin

Thank you very much illswimhome  Grin

Obviously you understand that I am a 76 year old novice struggling with modern technology.

Your instructions about b-mail were perfect, and allowed me to successfully contact the Mayport Crabber  Wink

Everyone else (although well intentioned) assumed that I knew what I was doing, but just was not familiar with this forum; and we all know what happens when we assume  Roll Eyes

Happy crabbing, Mani

I'm amazed that Tat actually typed a response instead of using smiley faces.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

My pleasure.  Age had nothing to do with it, I just noticed you were new to the forum and remembered how difficult it can be when you aren't familiar with the layout.  Any questions, feel free to ask.
