First softcrabs today.  Good news there were a lot of them.   Grin  Bad news to small yet. Sad  Shore is littered with molts.

That's almost enough to get a man in the mood for a good sandwich ...................
after taking the pic, I put him in a mini bucket to harden completely and now he is back swimming in the creek.  I took the pic cause all tho my son has seen zillions of soft crabs he never has paid any attention to how much they grow in one slough.. I thought somebody here might be interested also Wink Grin

Sorry about the empty post , couldn't get the fingers working right . What I wanted to say was ; that's pretty cool Jack . It is  pretty amazing , I think I read somewhere where they grow 1/3 their size for each slough . Gotta love em'..........................And it's really good that you boy is learning first hand . A lot of people will never see anything like that.
