Hi Mick,

The reports have been good so far closer to the ocean, so you should be fine.  With all the recent rain the crabs have been closer to the salt water than up in the rivers.  The reports from Atlantic City to Sea Isle have been very good so definitely give it a shot.  Go to a local bait & tackle shop to get the latest reports when you get here.  They can also give you suggestions on good spots to try.

Thanks CaptMoose!  I will take your suggestions.  I'm not used to the beaches in NJ.  People can fish at the beaches here in MN, but it sounds like there are different rules in NJ beaches.
