We are vacationing in south nags head 1st wk of sept, just wondering what the crabbings like.  i use a trot line from a 16' boat.  usually crab the wye.  any help would be appreciated !

i handlined there from shore last july and caught like 3 dozen, i was amazed, not many boats on the bay either. should be awesome crabbing by boat. we must have caught over a bushel of small ones so hopefully they all grew to keeper size for you this year.
