Thanks for the heads up. DelMarVa area has a lot to clean up. Undecided Sounds like the De river.  Delaware and New Jersey finally adopted the same criteria for contaminents for the De river and bay.  Can only have one serving of fish caught from the De river once, that is once a year.  Above the C&D Canal you are advised to catch and release only.  Shocked Lips Sealed

It will be almost impossible to know how many PCB's maybe in fish until everyone gets on a standard way of measuring the PCB's.

In NJ they currently take a Striper or Rock and basically put it in a blender and test the slurry created.

I don't think that gives an accurate indication of PCB's in the edible portion of fish particularly b/c more & more people are cutting out the blood line and bleeding fish. Here in NJ people are keeping smaller fish to eat (24"-30") which lessens the chance of ingeting polluants.

Roanoke is on it's way to being recognized as one of the larger producers of Rocks I just hope they see the lessons learned by other states.

NJ seems to like to learn the hard way & after this oil spill we may see a drastic change in our producer status.
