I thought about making my own lines up when I came across Capt'n Moose's lines pre made. Has anyone else bought and used his lines and what do you think of how he made them?? I already know I'm going to get people that are his friends, but I really would like feedback from the ones who have bought and used them. Are the baits to close? Are the snooches to big or to small? Will they hold a good foul neck?

Thanks!
John

If I remember his posting I and told him I thought he had a Quality product - I do not know Capt Moose other then him being on this forum - I complimented him simply from what I saw and my personal standards in building my own equipment.  The questions you ask are very very open ended - the answers will be varied on personal preference - each person had his own distance between baits of their own reasons - there is no best - it is what you yourself find comforatable for you.

You can only judge the quality on the material used - I am sure if you request a special spacing - or hardware he will be happy to provide a custom line - if you know what you want - it appears to me you have little or no experience running a line and are depending on others to set you in the right direction - truthfully - not being a smart [arse] - you will need to find what works for or make what ever you have work - again the quality is in the materials used as you can always custom order.

John,

DP is exactly right......there is no right or wrong bait spacing, the average is probably 4-5' but I know one member on here that said he spaces at 2'. By the way it is "snoods not snooches.
Good luck, let us know what you decide.
