Did you guys see the news last night?  I couldn't believe it!  They said they found male bass fish with eggs in them.  They originally thought they were lesions, but upon further inspection they found them to be eggs.  I hope they find the cause of this soon.

Did you guys see the news last night?  I couldn't believe it!  They said they found male bass fish with eggs in them.  They originally thought they were lesions, but upon further inspection they found them to be eggs.  I hope they find the cause of this soon.
Aaah yes it has finally occured, nature has found a way for the male species to exist without a female!

Actually, it is rather common in fishes.  Happens quite frequently with common aquarium fish... Normally, fish first mature as females and then change to males.. Tropical fish, swordtails, seem to do this when the mix of female to males is heavy on the female side.
