Heading down to visit my Dad in Swansboro,NC. Help

         Hello,

             Name is Ned, from CT.,  and my son David who is 9, we will both be heading down to visit my Dad in Swansboro,NC  in two weeks.  I've never spent any time crabbing while down to visit, but I do enjoy chasing those Red Drum you have down there. Very near to my dad is a creek named " Queen's Creek "  I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a good place to spend the day crabbing with my son?  If not Queen's Creek, where else between say Hubert and Alantic City, might be a good place for my son and I to check out.   We love our visit down there and always spend a good time fishing. But we want to mix it up some this visit and try our hand at crabbing and clamming down there.
