Thinking about hitting the Dundee on Thursday, 1st time there.Usually go to crab alley or the GP.Any suggestions on were to go on the creek or just look for the boats.Thanks Kiss

Dundee and GP are basically one in the same.  Dundee gets very crowded b/c it's not that big.  My suggestion is go away from the boat find 8' of water and set there.

should be open tomorrow at 5ish.you should be there at 4:15 if ya want to be one of the 1st ones in line..should be a good day to crab.. Wink  I'm predicting a catch of bushel to bushel and a half.... dont forget the camera.....I need some pics to look at.....no one post pics anymore.

Thanks flounderpounder will try to take some pics I agree with you no one post pics anymore I called the lady at dundee and they said they open at 6 but this is not my first time there and you never know when the guy is going to show up so it is best to get there early.

they dont open up until after 6 on mon and tuesday....he said they would be open around 5 every other day....as long it is not some young punk with a hangover running late....1 day he didnt show up until 30 min after start time.

I know the password BOLT CUTTERS  especially 30min late that had to suck! i'v had some luck in the mouth of the dundee, but have to agree anywhere in 7ft should be a good day Wink

I hope you use tie-wraps...I had all my traps tie wrapped and still lost 8-10 baits due to catfish.. Huh Huh....let me know how many bass boats you saw... Grin

hey I use those style clips that come on battery rechargers you can find them in the electrical isles in some hardware stores. They come in two sizes I use the large ones and I wire tie them to the trap I never lose baits . I crab in the upper elk where everyone complains about the cat fish and how they lose bait. I know that they are there I have caught a few in the traps. You may want to give them a try they are a little salty  in price but I have not replaced any yet. 3 yrs
