When I was out in MO for 7 days for my brothers wedding I stayed at his house. For his bachelor party we went out shooting. He brought his 9Mil glock, M4 Carbine, and WWII Russian sniper rifle. My question is can anybody find out the exact name of this WWII Russian sniper rifle I will explain it to the best of my ability. It has an Iron bayonet, shoots 45cal (we shot 45 full metal jacket), and bolt action. Oh ya in the ammunition case Is close to 1500 rounds of 9mil hollow point.  Cool

BF.....it can't be much of a sniper rifle if it is .45 cal. The range of a .45 is way too short to make it an effective snipers weapon.

looks like an cheep SKS, hey I got one - never fired it  laugh laugh laugh

and barrel is too short for a sniper rifle

sniper rifles don't have bay - on - nets

jack consider a 1/2 inch rubber stock extension - SKS makes a short stock for the chinese shooter and it helps reduce recoil  Wink

Sorry about that, he said it shoots 7mm, his battle buddys deer hunting rifle shoots 45.

I have an 8mm Mauser, I believe is russian.

Has about, perhaps a bit better than the 30-30, the same balistics.

Any caliber rifle can be classified a sniper rifle, just as long as you "snipe" your target at whatever distance.
