Holy $@&!! That is the biggest crab I have ever seen. That thing could take your arm off .how would you even cook it ? You would need a real hammer to crack the claws.

Wetdream is trying to get a measurement for me.  Apparently Barners aren't as cynical as BCAers.  Grin

Bruce,

What ever happened to the measurement and verification of the 11" crab? The picture you linked too was the same picture posted here and that wasn't the 11"er. You said you knew the guy that claimed to have caught this crab, did he ever send a legitimate picture? Just curious cause we bust the La. guys about the size of their crabs and not showing proof. Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

They may not be as cynical but they are a helluva lot more gullible if they thought that crab was 11" laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

Yeah it sure would be nice if one of these stories actually panned out to be real . One of theese days someone will actually get a picture with a ruler on it.but not everyone gives a curd how big of a crab they catch not to mention a picture with a ruler . I would have never thought of that until I found this site . I have talked to pepole here on the island that say they have caught 10" crabs recently or they say as big as a dinner plate. When I ask if they measured it , it's always no.

Hey - us folks that got sliced and diced get a tad mean! Especially when I expected it to be band-aid surgery and I wake up to "well - your insides were a mess so we had to open you up to get the procedure done.....". Well, crumb!

Old Grouchy is wandering around mumbling he needs to get a new trap puller.........

Another fish story just like the ones back in the 80's that dnr was doing the winter dredging and found a 14 inch crab now pics no ruler just a story. Kind of like bigfoot you have to catch one to prove it is real.

I have another 63" if anyone wants her! I know you will not believe this, but I got a 60 pound blue crab yesterday. It's true. No lie. I would have taken a picture, but my camera does not have a wide angle lens. I think it might be a MD record....
