Actually, I've known one or two.  I may have even been in jail myself a long time ago.  Roll Eyes  Yes, it is a better tool to use DEPENDING on the job.
You've got to read and listen more.  Wink
Of course they would be.  A knife is also a deadly weapon.

Actually, the people I was speaking of are those that purchase guns legally, use them to kill someone, and therefore BECOME criminals.  What I mean by that is, we all have the capacity to choose right or wrong.  Most rational people don't purchase guns to kill someone.  They buy them for protection, security, peace of mind etc.   Yet our prisons are full of those same people, because in a moment of anger, or passion, or distorted thinking, they make the wrong choice.   As many as carrer criminals?  No, of course not.  But as stated elsewhere, "criminals" can't legally purchase guns, and I was not speaking of them.  Regarding them, I said, "... it would be nice if only criminals killed criminals."
Lastly, so we're all clear:  Do I own a weapon?  Perhaps.  Roll Eyes
Of course I may not be "rational" to someone from the city or up north but I have one who's sole purpose is to kill someone if it becomes necessary. It is dedicated to that end and hopefully will never be used.

sorry..pressed the wrong button.......but ,12 yrs ago ,wife drive van,i drive boat..fl to md....van has my guns..2 shotguns ,1-.22 and 2 pistols...we go up to my job,and do not want to leave guns in fl.    after getting there we go shopping in easton and while eating at wendy's  i asked 2 troopers about her having the guns in the van while driving to and in md... and said they were unloaded and in a soft case .....after they explained what they said the laws and punishment were ,i backed water and said i was only thinking of the coming year......i had the feeling they were going to follow us out and search my van........strict laws w/ no common sense...

I think city folks may question what the other guns are for. DC repealed its gun law not for sporting clays or deer drives.
BTW all my guns can serve that purpose. the one time I had to make the choice of which one..the 870 from the hip.
