Ok I have searched this forum and google and can't seem to find a good summary of recreational blue crabbing regulations. So far it seems like you can only have 5 pyramid style traps, harvest during daylight hours, have saltwater fishing license and have buoys marked appropriately. Any help woukd be greatly appreciated. I just received my traps in the mail yesterday and will be going tomorrow. I will be fishing/crabbing in the Steinhatchhee, horseshoe beach, cedar key, suwannee type areas.

Thanks,

Sandy

Sounds right to me, just dont drop traps where you would impede a boat from leaving its dock, most complaints to marine patrol are from homeowners.
