I'm headed down to Tampa for my spring break (21st-25th March) and was wondering how the fishing is this time of year.  I'm planning on doing quite a bit of wade fishing (w/ fly and rod/reel), some bridge fishing (Sunshine Skyway Bridge...and other bridges/causeways), and maybe even go out on a headboat in the gulf for a day (pricey though  Lips Sealed).  Has anyone been fishing here recently to give a report?  I would think the waters would be cool enough for some grouper to still be around the Skyway bridge...but I'm not sure.  I would love to catch a keeper grouper....but who knows, I might be pullin up a half ton hammerhead instead  Shocked.  I think the trout are on the flats right now...that's what I'll mainly be targeting whilst wading.  If worse comes to worse, I can always go for a few sheep, but I'd really like to target snapper/grouper/trout (& weakfish).  Also...any recommendations on spots to head to would be great.  I'm definitely trying out Fort DeSoto for a day....looks to good to pass up.  I'm staying in Oldsmar (if any of ya's know where that is)....it's near the top of Tampa Bay.  Thanks for any help!! Cool Cool
