Grandfater called me looney cause of the wind but Went out on Saturday to a public pier on IR near gull point. with 10 lines caught 25 keeper crabs in 1 hour. had a bunch more juvies. biggest was 7 1/8" most around 5 3/4" Good times with the wife and little man.

Yes you need a license to crab from a pier or a boat, or land or a bridge. I don't belive you need one on a charter boat, but still need to have a FIN.

Yep licence and dont forget to get your Fin number! I saw "The Man" while there and he was just as impressed as we were with the amount of crabs from a short pier...

No one else on the peir, just me and the wifey (and little man) Crabs were typical IR crabs, nothing like the wye or choptanks.... Fin is a number that you have to get by calling the number they give you when you buy your licence. After you answer a few quick questions they give you a number, you write it down and carry with your licence. easy and painless
