sorrry not mine.. still shiny and no rust.. and only garage kept for 2 years of the 6 and 1/2 I have had it.  It might get 1-2 baths a year.. hauls deer, geese, misc whatever, crab bushels... tows the boat ..... etc etc.. run the beach surf fishing...  sorry no rust..  Grin

I think you might be refering to those toyotas from several years ago when the spot welds around the fenders would rust out on about every one I saw ....( prior to the tacoma model )

got a 2000 chevy extended cab. use it hard! tow boat and camper without so much as a whimper! 216,000+ miles on it and the only thing i've put on it is tires, a battery, and a window cable! oh, and NO rust!!! Wink i'll run it till the motor blows..... then i'll fix it, and run it some more!!!  Wink

I will admit, pre 2007 Chevy gassers are good solid reliable trucks. (2500's of course).  The Alison transmissons in the Duramaxs flat out SUCK!  Alison may make transmissions for ships and tugboats but man, the ones in the pickups just SUCK.
