I am a transplante Marylander who has lived in Florida for a long time, but have always purchased my crabs. Now, we have a boat and want to catch our own bounty here in Central Florida so we are looking for places to crab along the East Coast between Ponce Inlet and Sebastian. Growing up in Maryland we used to just scrape them off the top of the water while fishing and off the pilings in Cobb Island where we seemed to always fish., wow that was fun!......Any help here in Florida would be greatly appreciated.......thanks, Wayne

I too am from Maryland and am now in VEro BEach FL.  I'm finding the crabs in the canals, but am afraid to eat them as the canals here are a bit scary/stinky.  Have you had any luck since you wrote this message?
