that would be the underwater line.  I hooked the rope, not the pots.

I was going to ask you the same thing.  Did you haul them with the puller, or by hand?

Do you think I am going to pull in 1200' of line.  Not to mention 12, 50+ pound pots in 20' of water.   Grin  I put that rope in the winder, my boat in netural and let it go.  The winder really surprised me, its alot stronger then i thought.  It pulled my boat quick.

The underwater line was cut in half and all caddywhampass.  One boat found 11 pots on the other end.  Then his helper jumped on my boat and helped me which saved me ALOT of time.  Someone obviously didn't like someone cause what I think happened is, they cut the buoys off, then drug the line every which way, then cut it in half and did the same thing to the other side cause line was going in VERY different directions.
