Way to go Bill, great crab.  I agree, looks like an even 9" to me.  You certainly set the bar high for the first entry of the year!!!!   laugh

You should get him mounted.

Great looking crab.  Don't forget this year has a second and third place too.  A 9" may win but everyone should still submit their biggest.

It does?  I thought that hadn't been decided.  I don't really care, and even though Bill has a 9,  I'm gonna win, and if its 1st, 2nd and 3rd, I'm gonna win em all. Grin

not to pick on Mr Breeze, he's just he last post referencing it, but really... who gives a crud if it's 9 or 8 7/8 or whatever.  he said he saved it, so if anyone else gets one the same size, we'll have a measure-off. at this point its still a heck of a crab. and to catch another that was 8 3/4 on the same day? holy moly i'd  get both of them mounted staged like they're fighting each other.

Tat I have one here that might not win the contest but I would like you to mount it and the shrimp. Mr. Breeze captured it for me while I was out of his boat recently - It might help answer that age old question - how many crabs are in a bushel.
