About 3-4 more hours in the water and he'd be close to 9"...He's  still way to soft to make his full size yet..

Gene do you get softies in the pots down there. We get them up here sometimes i hate having to stick my arm all the way in the pot to crab them takes time

looks more like a "she" to me with the red claws or do they all have red claws when they shed?

No, I think it's a Boy.. Sook claws are more orange than red...The best way to tell is to "SHAKE-EM",  If they Rattle they're Boys......... Grin

Thats why I put doors on my hard crab pots,got barnicles on some of the peeler pots right now and my arms are raked down.

i dont have big arms but i have big hands attached to pretty long arms either way still mekses id difficult to do.but im sure with you behind me yelling at me Wink i'l do just fine

hey guys i am moving to the va beach area ..fort story actually in july... i am a crabber/fisherman from nc ...i have a 12 foot sea nymph and 5 pots that i use here ...are the regs the same there compared to here. Huh Huh we have to use pink bouys ...season is year round. 5 inches on minimum size and not more than 40 lbs.Huh??/ any help would be greatly APP. Heath Grin
