Crab'n is a way of life....

Fished two tides. Nothing touch the mini's or squid. Small Rock and Croakers were slam'n bloodworm's. All day there were diving birds all around us, lots of birds. Every now and then we could see fish breaking the surface. I tried everything on board but no hookups. I could feel the fish hitting small white buck tails but no hookups. It was giving me chest pains. All these birds! I could see what ever was there was driving small silvery bait fish to the top. I don't know how any of them could survive. The gulls on top and something below. I tried everything I had on board, nothing... Then as a last resort, I looked in my sons tackle box. He had some white twister tails about an inch and a half long. That was the ticket. We had one L of a lot of fun on ultra light rods. A nice fish on every cast. For hours.

You gotta match the size of what they're feeding on. The little twister tails work well and they make little sassy shads that size too. Put them on a 1/4 or 3/8 oz. lead head and go to town. If you run out of the smaller twister tails, bite off the head and tail ends of 4" twister tails and use them. I know you got grass shrimp down there in ESVA. Stick one of those on the hook point and the fish will hold on even better.

Jack, you look so happy! And you look so different from when I met you!! You have a great lookiing son and congratulations on your nice catch!! Hope to be there in the next week or so....the motor you dropped off for me cost me just about $300 to fix it up...and THANK YOU..I am planning on a charity ebay auction soon...for this board! I just have to hook up with the right item...if I don't find one...I will just do another donation to the board. You guys are the best.
Now iif the weather would just TURN already...and I think we all know what it is going to turn to....HOT...it's COLD here...I've had to put my heat on at least twice per day...it is May 6th and the heat is running now...but not for long...I'm going to bed and I just had to get the chill out of this old house...and we may be facing a nor'easter tomorrow....they are not sure yet....there goes Saturday on the big boat....looks like a lot of wind and rain for Saturday morning....Right now all I am concentrating on is getting my boat in order...trailer hitch alone is costiing me almost $275....and "they don't do wiiring".....

What a deal janice, where you gonna get a good motor all serviced and ready to go for that price?.... Nowhere! plus just think of the piece of mind you bought yourself knowing its been checked over and running 100% good luck on you boating venture. also you might try a u-haul dealer for a trailer hitch they're pretty reasonable and I beleave they will wire your vehicle too!
