Hit the water around 7 am with my brother-in-law and nephew armed with 30 traps baited with chicken necks.    They are from Hershey, but have lived in Texas in recent years, so this was the first time my nephew has crabbed other than the time I took him to a dock a few years ago.

The first run was incredible.    Like 13 keepers on the first four pulls type incredible.    By the time we finished the second run, we had a full bushel.    After that, it slowed down and settled into a normal pace.   We finished the day just before 11 am with almost two bushels.    Crabbed shallow water, mostly 2-4 feet and did well all day.

Quote of the day from my nephew:    "This is much better than playing video games!"

Took them fishing today.    3 fluke (all shorts), 4 sand sharks, 4 sea bass, one oyster cracker and about 20 sea robins.    The kid loved it.

Greenheads were bad yesterday and bad today as well.

I have a funny "loading the crab pot" video I am going to post later...

You know the bugs love me.    Where they aren't bumpy and oozing, they are nice and scabby.
