I'm trying to find out some info on whether you can catch them with a dip net in the winter???

I know they bury themselves in the mud in deeper water and go into a state of torpor...

but do they wake up and feed???

or do they lay dormant all winter??

I don't want to look like an idiot trying to catch blue crabs with a dip net in the middle of winter LMAO...

any information would be helpful.

Once they mud down, you'll have to "wait until next year", just like the Mets.    Wink
