I've read most of the posts here about freezing crabcakes but so far the cakes I've frozen fall apart when

they're thawed and fried. I pretty much stick to the recipe on the Old Bay can and they turn out fine when

they're cooked before freezing. When I freeze them raw I put them on a cookie sheet, cover with plastic

wrap and freeze til they're solid. Then I bag them with a vacuum sealer and back into the freezer they go.

To thaw I just take them from the freezer and put into the refrigerator for a day. So far every one I've

thawed and fried has fallen apart in the skillet. Is there a better recipe for freezing or should I just use

more or different binders? Any suggestions?

Freeze after cooking.
