I just drove past Warren's Bait Box on B&A blvd tonight and saw a large "Going Out of Buisness" sign on the side of the building.
It looked like there was still stuff in the store.
Does anyone have any details?  Is this their sign and if so, when are they closing?

It's their sign and they've been having the sale for a couple of months now - I would imagine the stuff has been pretty well picked over but might be worth looking through.

Thanks Mike, That's a shame. I really liked going in there for bait and last minute tackle. I guess I'll be getting everything from Clyde's now.

Yeah, we used to stop there when I was a kid on the way to fish the Eastern shore ponds (I think before the current owners bought it). They used to keep minnows in the stream behind the store and the ice house was next door where you could get 50 lb blocks of ice. Things change.

With Obamas hopey thing happening in this country, we'll all be lucky if we have any change left to buy a cup of coffee when he's done.

warren's has been announcing that since early Fall 2011. But don't worry you have Strangler's down on 50 whos charging $6 for an 1/8oz rattletrap or $70 for a handmade crab scoop and on top of that they treat you like [curd]. Its a shame bc I enjoyed going to Warren's, talk to the old "Mrs. Warren" who would always give you a hard time about something Smiley and the commercial crabbers that would venture in to talk about how they were doing on the Severn.

Warren's will be missed for sure.

I'll stick to Clyde's if Warren's is going out.  http://home.comcast.net/~clydessportshop/home.html

I stopped buying from Angler's many years ago, and that was only ramp permits.
