Actually Jerry,

pigeons are cousins to doves.. and they best way I like to serve a dove is as follows...

breast out the dove/ pigeon...( pluck breast and then slide your thumb up under the breast bone and pull upwards.. the breast should peel out it will have the bone /cartlidge behind it.

anyway breast out 6-12 doves... then I like too rub them with some of my poultry rub and then wrap with a half piece of bacon and then brush them with a good bar b que sauce.... bulls eye, baby rays whatever...
cook till juice runs clear..on a medium charcoal grill or gas grill make sure ot have some smoke chips going.. I like applewood for birds.. anyway.. that is about the best way to cook dove IMHO.....  you can even ask flounderpounder cause he made this and ranted and raved how good it was  Grin

The American fast food mantra. Oh and don't forget the cheese. And if you're a football scholar from some lame a$$ college, you ask if you'd like to supersize that.

Jack's just trying to thin his population. Lessen the weight in his coop on the roof for when the next snow storm comes.

Your brood getting to big, you need to upgrade your pigeon condo.  Shoo some of them off, I am sure that bald eagle will take care of a few. Grin

The eagle waits in the back ground (Bruce took some pics from his trip there), I only saw it from a distance when I was there, but those birds just did laps around the house.  They didn't venture too far from the coup.
