I am new to this board but I have noticed when somebody asks  a question you get a lot of " go to search". I would like to see  some new ansewers on comments like (prop sticks, trot line, floats, what line to use,&etc.) when there brought up. I know I've used the "search" quite a few times myself. I'm sure this board gets new members daily so lets hear from some new members and the from day one members. Yes I have "searched prop sticks & etc."  If I put up a common  post what nobody has built or changed anything this year, last month, last night. Just because a topic been covered there are new ideas out there. Isn't this what the site is for?? I 'll give an example I see alot of asking about trot line winders and how to store. I didn't see any body using what I use. I use a 12v electric Hanny hose reel winder I got off ebay for a hundred bucks. These run from 500 to 1500 new. Mine was like brand new and came from a fire truck. I have it mounted to the front of my boat and use a trolling motor push button switch(walmart). This thing is powerfull and all most to fast. If I don't unhook the far weight this thing will pull my boat and bring waves over the bow. 1200' less then 5 min. Then go home wind rebait on to empty garden hose reel about 30min to 40min(depends on how many beer runs) and put in freezer. No snoods. I had to find a way to lay and pick up my trot line to make it easy cause I have back problems.

This site needs to have a frequently asked questions board, or sticky frequently asked questions.
