To all................

For at least 4 years (Over 1300 copies)  I have been sending out my local crabbing maps for the Weweantic River, The Wareham Narrows & Agawam/Wareham River and Eel Pond, Mattapoisett.  Except for a few months while in the hospital, when Rob Curtis sent them out for me.  I have done the maps over in Google Earth and annotated them so everyone can figure out were to go and where to park.  While most areas have some access issues, if you are careful, you can get your share.  Massachusetts has a strong Riparian Rights law so trespassing on private property to crab, fish or hunt is not looked on favorably.  You do have some rights as far as tidal lands go, but I urge you to do some research yourself if you are new to crabbing here.  I have even sent copies to folks in foreign countries.

I get a lot of people and Rob, (RobC22) gets a lot of people who mail us all the time who want answers to everything on crabbing or lobstering instantly with no work on their part..............We both have taken a stance that we won't even answer.  It is apparent that some people find this site and see an e-mail address and expect instant gratification.  Sorry, do some research, read the hundreds of prior posts and THEN send that e-mail or B-mail..we would be glad to help.  If you want a copy, send me a B-mail and I will send them along.  Don't just post to this thread, I might not see your post.  It is a PDF file like the old maps and there is more detail than before.  Start that research you new crabbers and get ready, Spring is on the way.  "Make sure you get your share"  My e-mail is in my profile........it helps to cut down on spam.

I can only say thanks for the support.  I know the real thanks goes to Steve for making the Forum available.  There is no other place on the planet that has the volume of crabbing knowledge that is here.  When you think about it, it is the combined knowledge of hundreds and hundreds of people who actually do it year in, year out.

Thanks Steve !!!!!
