Well, I've been out of here for quite some time.  Thinking I have to get some pots in the water.  Need a new boat, though.  Probly just handline this year.  Nice to read your posts, Russ!

WELL THE CRABS ARE HERE
WATER TEMP IS UP TO 75
EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHER WAS OUT TODAY, HAD A NICE CONVERSATION WITH A COMM GUY SETTING OUT HIS POTS.,
GOT ABOUT 2 DOZEN IN A FEW HOURS  14 TRAPS, (5 SHINEY NEW ONES THANKS KCRABPOTS)
7-9 FEET OF WATER
TROTLINE 101 NEXT TIME OUT

I went out yesterday and threw out 5 toppless traps from my kayak during the oncoming tide......Caught about 40 crabs in about 4 hours but i forgot to bring sunscreen and think i got more sun than ive ever gotten......[dang] my back hurts! goodluck everyone!

Went out today for about 2 hours. Caught right around 50 with 6 toppless traps..It seems there getting bigger and more plentiful! The only downfall is there medium heavy crabs...but good none the less!

Medium heavy.....not packed full of meat like the rusty bottom crabs! Everyone knows if you can see through it it isnt packin alot of meat lol. good luck out there everyone

I TOOK MY WONDERFUL WIFE CRABBIN WITH ME THIS MORNING

HAD A GREAT TIME PULLED JUST OVER A DOZEN I A FEW HOURS
