The winter dredge survey that dnr conducts to determine the crab population in the bay should be out soon- early april.

It comes out the second or third week of april I think it was the third week last year. Undecided

Yup. Mid April...  The results are gonna be good but that's based on the current thresholds. Look out for some changes.   Undecided

there will be changes its not an election year. and it all depends on the weather as to how good crabbin is,last year hot and dry drove the crabs all the way up the susky to the 95 bridge. so we will just have to wait and see, hopefully they will be bigger than last year i fed a lt of crabs that were just under the limit !!

There was a ton of small crabs last year, I was going though at least twice the bait compared with the previous two years.  I had a couple outings where I returned 300 or 400 undersized crabs and I was using 26 topless traps.
