Greetings Everyone,

I have been lurking here for some time.  Now seems like a good time to test the waters.   I will be moving from St Louis to Titusville in a few months.  I would like to try my hand at crabbing and shrimping for fun and dining opportunities.  Does anyone crab or shrimp from the riverfront parks in Titusville?  In particular I am referring to the William J Menzo Park, Rotary Riverfront park, and the Space View Park.  The dock at the Rotary Riverfront Park covers a lot of water.  I have zero experience and I will probably start simple with a chicken neck on a string and a net.  Thank you for your responses

Hi and Welcome to Titusville. You'll like it here lots of nice friendly people. I am very familiar with all the parks here in Titusville so hopefully I can be of service.

The best place to crab here in Titusville from a pier or shore is the following.

Veterans Memorial Fishing Pier. Right on the left as you take the road out to the beach.

Bio Lab Road out on St Rd 3

Gator Creek which is on the right just after you get over the bridge.

If you will stop by here when you are in town I will show you on the map we have.

Hope this helps

Barry
