We caught so many crabs it was hard to keep up in upper machodoc creek off the Potomac last year and they were all blue crab. They were all very large. We've had crabs at popes creek and Tims II and other place and none came close to the size of the ones we caught.

i have been in west point for about a week or so. crabbing sucks for me. what are you using for bait and where did you set your pots?

We've been catching Crabs at the Pier since we opened. Yes, mostly female sponge crabs, but there have been a lot of them. Even throwing back the dark sponges, people are leaving with their coolers and buckets full. It's looking like it's gonna be another good year.
