Weis Markets May 27-29

Hey folks, just saw in the Weis flyer that they're offering Chesapeake Bay crabs: $1.99 ea., $23.88 a doz., and $75.00 a half bushel. While supplies last. Just might have to make a trip and at least see what they look like.

They also state they are seasoned and cooked.

I saw some at Shoprite the other day. There were three crabs cooked in a package for $5.99. When I picked the pack up, it felt like an empty package. One crab had a hole in it's shell it was so light. I bought some shark steaks for $3.49 and cooked them on the grill.

That's what I'm worried about. Don't think they'll let me perform the usual tests, and there's been a shed on lately. Don't want to get a 1/2 bushel of 5" whiteys.

Kudos to Weis. Got my dozen, $23.88. A couple lights, but many over 6+" and packed. Filled the need for now.

I think you'd be wise not to go to weis. If you can't catch em yourself support your local waterman.
