Crab Limits...

I have a Rec license for crabbing and my sister and her husband have asked to crab with me 1 day. I normally rent from SCHNAITMANS and I know there boats are not licensed. The rules state the following

Catch Limit for a Unlicensed Boat.
One licensed crabber in the boat alone or with unlicensed crabbers;
1 bushel of hard crabs
2 dozen soft crabs and peelers

So we can only get 1 Bushel then...

LOL.. writing this I've figured out that 1 Bushel is the limit no matter how many people in the boat.

Mike , actually if one of them buys a license you can get two bushel . That is the max. you can get though .

Ok I understand that... Now another question, My brother has the boating license for fishing and crabbing. He cannot trailer his boat down to the Wye, but wants to go with me. If I rent a boat and he comes with me is he considered a licensed crabber with the boat license. Thank You...

Yes he is, he should have received a comp crabbing license when he purchased the boating license.
