What's up everyone? I'm on here to take my love of crabbing and fishing to the next level. I love crabs, they aren't just a favorite food, but a real passion of mine. Since I am from Annapolis, MD born and raised I feel like it's in my blood and apart of my culture and heritage to not just eat crabs, but to have love and respect for the Chesapeake Bay. Many men and women use it not just for recreation but to feed their families and pay the bills.
I have always been drawn to the water. When I was 2 years old I almost drowned because I took off from my parents in Ocean City and jumped into the deep end of a swimming pool. Someone there fished me out and said I didn't even cry. By the age of 3 years old, I was swimming underwater. In summer camp, I was the youngest person in the upper level swimming groups. I was in the same group as my sister who was 3 years older than me. I've always felt right at home in or around the water!
I love water sports of all kind. I've been snorkeling off Hawaii, San Diego, Florida Keys, Tabago, Puerto Rico, and Cozumel. I've also swam with Sting Rays off the Cayman Islands and repelled down waterfalls in Dominica.
I love to fish, but I'm not the greatest fisherman. I love to crab, but my cooler is usually more full of beer than crabs. I know a little bit, but that's why I'm here to learn from everyone's experience and hopefully heighten and hone my skills as a waterman.
Blue crabs are delicious, but for some reason they always taste better when you catch em yourself!
