no idea what is going on in mass.....blue crabs are just begining to show up on long island barely

The crabs are here for sure. I was in wareham 2 weeks a go and got 25 but only 8 keepers. I am surprised that I don't see more reports.  Huh Huh

I went down to the Wareham River, behind the firehouse, this past sunday only got smalls.  Not one keeper.  After a couple of hours I got discouraged and moved to the boat ramp on the Weweantic and still caught zero keepers.  The night time temps the previous two nights had been in the 40's so that may have turned off the big crabs.  I'm hoping the past couple of hot days will have turned to crabs back on.

i was also there sunday only got about 20 keepers and about 50 smalls, slowed a little but they are still there.
