What seasoning do you use when preparing crabs?    If your choice is others, please list the crab seasoning you use.

I voted other because I don't always use the same thing. Usually I start with beer and water and add spices, such as cajun spice, whole mustard seed, and parsly. Thats a good start and I usually add other things also. Like garlic, onion, bell pepper, jalipeno pepper. It all depends on what I want to put in at the time, but it always comes out good...Charlie

Just water and some beer, maybe some vinegar....I like the taste of the crabmeat Wink If I'm cooking some up for guests I'll add some seasoning as soon as I take them out of the steamer.

I use JO#1; I know I am in the minority.

For fish I use McCormicks Chesapeake Bay Seafood Seasoning.

The JO Spice Xtra Hot is pretty darn good.    Threw some on the crabs Thursday night and they were good.

Start with Old Bay and add Cayenne Pepper and Kosher salt to the mixture and then steam with Apple Cider Vinegar/water.
