I will be in lewes delaware in july, I will have my 19' boat with me, also 10, kids!   any suggestions on a place to crab,

Ralph

A good recipe for cold crabs,  Nice picking on the deck with beer!
Big pot put 1/3 cup of oil (peanut ) Garlick, fresh parsley salt , smoked paprica , (reg if you cant find it) saute these ingredients
do not burn the garlick, sometime's i use whold cloves and pull them out before I put my crabs in.  Fill pot halfway with crabs
while hot stirr crabs coating with mixture!  until red done!  , strain out the crabs, I take the top shell off,  refridgerate, put on lemon,
put infront of guests ,get out of the way!!!

Go down off of rt. 24 and launch at Gull Point, and head west on the Indian River by the power house, that whole area is good.

You're gonna need a license though! In DELAWARE you need a fishing license.

if your boat is not registered in delaware you will also need a ramp permit.

Anchor,  Thanks for the info,  I will be renting a slip from lewes muni docks.  Will they have a ramp permit for me?
