Well folks, I went out on the first crabbing excursion of the spring on Sunday. Unfortunately, things didn't go very well...

After sitting in the garage for 7 months, my traps had really rotten string, and I lost 3 of my traps on the first pull because the rope broke off. So I had to re-do every single trap with rope and it took forever.
I was only there for a couple hours, and caught 3 keepers and a bunch of throwbacks, and  I caught fish and the usual hermit crab.

It still seems like its just a bit too early to be crabbing. The water temperature is warming up though, so I'll try again in a couple weeks.

P.S.    If anyone in Florida actually goes crabbing, please post a report. It seems like me and 2 other people are the only ones that post reports. I really do want to know how other people are doing....

Thanks,
Matt

Pulled 200 pots day before yesterday and had 13 bushel of #1s and 4 bushel of #2s if that helps Hobo115
