???Anyone know where I can purchase small dip nets? I'm looking for the green nylon mesh type with the wooden handles about 5' in length.I used to get them in the local Dicks sporting goods or Wal-Mart in Philly. I cant seem to find them any more I tried on-line also with no success. Thanks. John

Just about any bait shop in the Baltimore area sells them!  I see your in Philly though!  You may have to take a trip to Baltimore if you can't find them online!  I know Warrens Bait Box in Glen Burnie, MD sells them.

You crab in SJ right?    Most bait stores have them as you get closer to the coastline.

Don't buy those. They are junk and if you get into any big crabs you will miss a few by hitting them off your line. Buy a fishing net with a larger net to give you more room for error. Just make sure the handle is long enough. It will last longer and easier to scoop the bigger crabs.  Wink

I know you are in Philly, but there is a place on Route one in Belair, MD.    They have nets plus anything else you'll need.
