Crabby Captain John coming aboard. Former charter captain now with a small vessel that can be handled alone or with helper(s). Just getting into crabbing with much to learn. Thanks for the info already gleaned from the site that helped peak my interest. First traps going into the ICW Monday. The Recreational Commercial Gear License has a 5 trap limit so that will max me out!

I hope those traps you dropped bring you a nice yield.

Thanks, they are in the garage just waiting to be baited Monday. If these work out well I'll be adding a few more. Must still find chicken necks-- or legs tomorrow. That 'job' thing sometimes gets in the way.

Let us know how you do with a crabbing report (in the reports section) after you check the traps.
