I was wondering if any knew the law for times on crabbing for a recreational crabber vs commercial in the tributaries.
Are recreation or commercial crabbers allowed to lay before the times as long as they are not physically putting crabs in the boat?

Nope. Gear is gear and the law says you can't lay gear.

Thanks Crabby Daddy- I read through the rules- It is now my understanding that you can not lay gear within 100' of a trotline- Is that correct?
