I just moved to Louisiana and was wondering how far north the crabs can be caught?  I live in Saint Martinville.

I live near Breaux Bridge. Did you find any crabs in Basin near you?

Farthest north I ever go is Laplace, but where you are located you have lots of places you can go.  Ask around the local bait shops and I am sure there is somewhere along the road you can find.

I have heard of people crabbing as far north as Plaquemine, but I have no idea where they went, that is more crawfish territory.
