My kids and I took chicken and drop nets to the pier at about 7pm. It was windy and a storm was coming, but the band at the tiki bar was good!  We didn't catch or see one crab.  It was our first try ever, though.  We are up for trying again tonight, maybe the same location, maybe New Smyrna.

Thanks for the report; I didn't know they had a new bridge there.
Maybe it's too knew for the crabs?

New Smyrna is being hit pretty hard right now at the north causeway.
The crabs are numerous but not too big.
Closer to you is Riverbreeze Park in Oak Hill. Very nice!
Next stop north would be Kennedy Park in Edgewater.
I tried there yesterday for two hours and caught four crabs. See report.

ride around your area......look for crab pot bouys or floats.......simple , the more floats you see ,the more crabs are in the area....saves a lot of time

i went there for my vacation and caught 4 crabs i use traps thou good luck....
