I will be in Duck the second week of August and plan on doing some crabbing from a 15 ft aluminium roundabout.
Is there a good place to put in?
How deep is the water at the launch in the Duck park?
How many collapsible type traps are you allowed?

IS CRAPPING GOOD IN THE DUCK AREA ?

Read my reports on Currituck sound.  The ramp in Corolla was free and perfect for a small boat not far from Duck at all.  The crabbing was excellent in the area in June, I can only assume it would be better in August.
