Caught almost a bushel this past weekend in the early AM up in Harris Creek and had a seafood boil.  Crabs, shrimp, corn, mushrooms, kielbasa, potatoes, lemon slices, and some cajun spices from LA.  Add slaw, tater salad, and good company on the side and a good weekend is had!.
Cheers,
Rick

Up around Indian point CC55.  Started about 3 hrs into a flood tide or so, bite went to [curd] on slack tide, as expected.  Used necks and a trotilne in the rec size.  Wind was a blowing a bit...

That is a wide open area there....    I think up Creek out of the wind would of been better...   May of been better to soft crab today, if one could find some clear water...

Agree Captn., wife and me were thinking next weekend to shoot up that way.  Noticed a Comm guy running 3 smaller lines way up in the creek and the wind was marginal.  Took some friends for a joy ride on the boat when I noticed him and was thinking it is worth a try.

If one can find a channel into a cove, just lay there...    One can do almost as well in the evening on a good tide in Harris Creek in Hot weather...
