Hit the Missipillion on Friday with my brother close to the mouth and after untangling the trotline got down to business. We also had a pot that we checked periodocially than left out for the weekend.  Only got 2 dozen keepers from the line and pot lots of doublers and maybe 20 females.

On SundayI took the wife and son out. I was little disappointed with the hull from the pot 4 big Jimmy's and one little female. I was sure after a 2 day soak there would be atleast 12-18 in there.  I guess the bait got ate up pretty quick. Broke out the trotline and went a mile or so farther and was able to get another dozen keepers. One of these days i'm going to fill that buschel basket.
