Does anyone know where to get the mesh material used for bait bags?? I would like to make my own bags but can not find the material or clamps. Any help would be great!

ok great thanks!

Any advice on what type of trap/rings to use. A friend of my uses the cotton rings with the bag bags. Seems to do very well with those.

Any advice? I am in the process of setting up the trotline rig but I want to get out on the water ASAP. I figured rings/traps will be the quickest way.

You can use a zip tie or get some 3/4" hog rings.
