It is my 20th wedding anniversary and i cant afford Hawaii, so I was thinking about getting a room around St michaels so we can stay fri and sat nite and get a couple of good meals.

If anyone has a favorite hotel and restaurant I would appreciate it.  Would like to do an AUCE Crab deal one nite.

11/4 and 11/5

Would like more a taste of the locals favorites not just the touron traps.

well , for seafood store in St Michael's there is one Place "Big Al's on main street.......  there is the AYCE buffet at the suicide bridge restuarant which is not too far away  Tidewater Inn is nice traditional old coutnry Inn with an Eastern Shore flare..... also may be some B and B's in the are, but you will have to google them...
Crab Claw is a good seafood place also in Town.....and don't forget to check out the Maritime Museum during your stay.. lot's of cool bay boats, light houses and old historic hunting stuff from the turn of the century market gunners etc... sneak boats, punt guns.. lot's of cool classic decoys etc.... neat place... but most things are a little pricey in the town....but it is a neat place ot visit.....

If you go there you can go to a place in Bozman right on the water. They are a seafood wholesaler but also sell retail at cheaper prices. The phone number is 410-745-2562.They can tell you how to get there.I went there many times last time we stayed there, the house we sayed in was right down the street or I never would have found it.

Harrisons   10 miles further on tilghman island.  Rooms, Good food, bar and  rest, and fishing charters for rockfish and still right down the road from St Mikes.  Fri or sat night check out the Carpenter street saloon on main street across from the Acme.  The town dock also has good food...I grew up near there
