Santa Rosa Beach FL, (Panhandle)

I live in Santa Rosa Beach (next to Destin) just a whopping 1/2 mile from the Choctawhatchee bay ( approx 35 miles east to West and 9 miles north to south)

Its a beautiful area to live and I love the company of all the sting rays and dolphins when Im on my boat.  My problem is that I am originally from NJ where in most summer months you can get quite a few dozen crabs within a few hours. 

I have been here for my 2nd summer and in the back bayous I get some real huge crabs...problem is never during one outing have I gotten more than 9 crabs which just isnt enough!  I have used traditional 4 door traps, drop lines, and even pots, baited with chicken, bunker and mullet but still my best day got me 9 crabs and I want more!

Any suggestions on what I should be doing differently, any hot spots etc so that I can get more crab than what I have been getting?
